A warm welcome awaits guests when they come to stay with us at Crown Cottage Farm B&B
A quiet and relaxed holiday accommodation to get away from it all and enjoy the great fresh air of the Yorkshire Dales.
Set in five acres of land, this is home to our small flock of Herdwick sheep. We also have playing out hens that supply eggs for breakfast. Our three labradors Harry and Dee will be more than happy to come say hello. If you are lucky Monkey may also come say hello.
Embsay, close to Skipton
Crown Cottage Farm is in the small village of Embsay, two miles from the market town of Skipton. Skipton High Street was voted Best High Street in 2008. Visit its colourful market on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Explore Skipton's medieval castle, one of the best preserved famous castles in Britain, or take a canal trip on the Leeds Liverpool Canal which passes through Skipton's Canal Basin.
The rural setting of our B&B makes us a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For those that like to walk there is plenty of breath taking scenery, from riverside walks to moorland hikes. Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Kettlewell, Malham are all a short car drive away. Or head up the Dales to Hawes and Leyburn. Harrogate and the historic city of York are easily accessible. There are many great places to visit when staying here.
